CABAF
2015-05-29
The international CABAF project includes Slovakian, Dutch and French partners. Its main goal is to compare the various career-counselling methods on three – for-profit, national and project – levels. Apart from this, we are also comparing the legal references, ICTs, and the type of the service – personal or online. Our aim is to create a unified survey which includes the four countries in order to find out the missing areas of career-counselling.
The partners
Partner Nr. 1 - TREXIMA Bratislava spol. s r.o., SK
Partner Nr. 2 - CA Teamwork for a better future – Veľký Meder, SK
Partner Nr. 3 - Human Profess Közhasznú Nonprofit Kft., HU
Partner Nr. 4 - LENO CONSULTING, FR
Partner Nr. 5 - Morjan European Vocational Education and Training (MJ EU VET), NL
During the project we are planning to exchange information about the current state of the international labour market and to compare career-counselling systems in the partner countries. The survey – based on practical experience – will provide us with new data which helps to improve career-counselling services.
The exchange of experiences will provide a solid foundation for improving already existing systems, coming up with new ideas, and career-counselling of adults, particularly for disadvantaged groups. The planned activities will help improve the quality and relevancy of career-counselling and therefore expand the knowledge of counsellors. A seminar organised on a national level (contributors: business sector, training institutions, elementary schools, high schools and universities, consulting centres, employment centres) will help balance the labour market’s demand and supply in order to improve the overall quality of labour market institutions. The products created after the seminar will serve as a good information base for every target group.
- Main goals of the project
- to contribute to the intensity, extent and quality of the cooperation between the institutions that deal with career-counselling, adult education and labour-market
- to establish a strong connection between vocational schools, counselling institutions, educational institutions, employers, local government regions and other organisations from the labour market on a regional, national and international level, in order to enhance the career-guidance services.
- to contribute to the amount of knowledge counsellors have by giving them information about good practices

- professional counsellors in elementary schools, high schools, universities and employment centres
